Social Media and Social Divisiveness
1:00:50
Social divisiveness isn’t new, but is it becoming more intense? How has the evolution of social media platforms affected societal polarization? The 50th Reunion Class of 1972 sponsors an inter-generational panel of alums to share views on these questions. Class of '72 members Ron Ashkenas, Bonnie Blair, and Leon Vinci will provide introductions and perspectives from their pre-social media generation. Hong Qu ’99 and Rachel Warren ’14, will share insights gleaned from their professional experience working in social media and academic focus on the impacts of social media. We also hope for active participation by alums and parents of all vintages.
